Note:Whenremovingthebattery,alwaysdisconnectthe
negative(-)cablerst.
Note:Wheninstallingthebattery,alwaysconnectthe
negative(-)cablelast.
Raisetheenginecover.Removeanycorrosionfromthe
batteryterminalsusingawirebrushandapplypetroleum
jellytotheterminalstopreventfurthercorrosion.Cleanthe
batterycompartment.
Undernormaloperatingconditionsthebatterydoesnot
requireanyfurtherattention.Ifthemachinehasbeen
subjecttocontinuoususeunderhighambienttemperature
conditions,thebatteryelectrolytemayrequiretoppingup.
Removethecellcoversandllwithdistilledwaterto15mm
(1/2inch)belowthetopofthebattery.Installthecellcovers.
Note:Checktheconditionofthebatterycables.Install
newcableswhencurrentonesareshowingsignsofwearor
damageandtightenanylooseconnectionsasnecessary.

entirebatterycasecleanbecauseadirtybatterydischarges
slowly.Tocleanthebattery,washtheentirecasewitha
solutionofbakingsodaandwater.Rinseitwithclearwater.
