authorizeddisposalsite.Wasteproductsmustnotbeallowed
tocontaminatesurfacewater,drainsorsewagesystems.

collectionmarkintogeneralwaste.
•Whendisposingofhazardouswasteproducts,
takethemtoanauthorizeddisposalsite.
Storage
PreparingtheTractionUnit
1.Thoroughlycleanthetractionunit,cuttingunit,and
engine.
2.Checkthetirepressure.
3.Checkallfastenersforloosenessandtightenthemas
necessary.
4.Greaseallgreasettingsandpivotpoints.Wipeup
anyexcesslubricant.
5.Lightlysandandusetouch-uppaintonpaintedareas
thatarescratched,chipped,orrusted.
6.Servicethebatteryandcablesasfollows:
A.Removethebatteryterminalsfromthebattery
posts.
B.Cleanthebattery,terminals,andpostswithawire
brushandbakingsodasolution.
C.Coatthecableterminalsandbatterypostswith
Grafo112Xskin-overgrease(ToroPartNo.
505-47)orpetroleumjellytopreventcorrosion.
D.Slowlychargethebatteryevery60daysfor24
hourstopreventleadsulfationofthebattery.
PreparingtheEngine
1.Draintheengineoilfromtheoilpanandreplacethe
drainplug.
2.Removeanddiscardtheoillter.Installanewoillter.
3.Relltheoilpanwithdesignatedquantityofmotoroil.
4.Starttheengineandrunitatidlespeedfor
approximately2minutes.
5.Shutofftheengine.
6.Thoroughlydrainallfuelfromthefueltank,lines,and
thefuellter/waterseparatorassembly.
7.Flushthefueltankwithfresh,cleandieselfuel.
8.Secureallfuelsystemttings.
9.Thoroughlycleanandservicetheair-cleanerassembly.
10.Sealtheair-cleanerinletandtheexhaustoutletwith
weatherprooftape.
11.Checktheantifreezeprotectionandaddasneededfor
expectedminimumtemperatureinyourarea.
