9.Aftertowingthemower,returnthemowertoits
normalworkingconditionbyperformingthefollowing
procedure:
A.Chockthefrontwheels.
B.Closethebypassvalveonthetransmissionpump
byturningitclockwise.
10.Engagethefrontwheelbrakesasfollows:
Note:EnsurethattheM12x40setscrewsare
removedandstoredunderneaththeoperatorplatform.
A.Identifytheright,frontwheelbrakeassembly.
B.Rotatethesetscrewcounter-clockwiseand
removewithwasher.
C.Assemblethehexplugintothemotorendplate
(Figure47).

Checktheconditionandtensionofthealternatorbeltafter
therstdayofoperationandevery100operatinghours
thereafter.
TensioningtheAlternatorBelt
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every100hours
1.Openthehood.
2.Checkthetensionofthealternatorbeltbydepressing
it(Figure48)midwaybetweenthealternatorandthe
crankshaftpulleyswith10kg(22lb)offorce.

Thebeltshoulddeect11mm(7/16inch).Ifthe
deectionisincorrect,proceedtostep3Ifcorrect,
continueoperation.
3.Loosentheboltsecuringthebracetotheengine
(Figure48),theboltsecuringthealternatortothe
brace,andthepivotbolt.
4.Insertaprybarbetweenthealternatorandtheengine
andpryoutonthealternator.
5.Whenyouachievethepropertension,tightenthe
alternator,brace,andpivotboltstosecurethe
adjustment.
