What to do if my Toro Utility Vehicle engine does not start?
- JJustin MaxwellAug 5, 2025
If your Toro Utility Vehicle's engine doesn't start, starts with difficulty, or stalls, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty and the shutoff valve is open; if not, replenish the fuel and open the valve. Next, check the spark-plug wire to ensure it's securely connected. A faulty spark plug can also be the culprit, so inspect it for pitting, fouling, or an incorrect gap, and replace it if needed. A dirty air cleaner or fuel filter can also cause these issues, so service the air cleaner element and replace the fuel filter. For issues related to dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, it's best to contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
