1.Removetheright-sidepanel;refertoRemovingthe
SidePanels(page35).
2.Inspectthebeltforcuts,cracks,loosecords,grease,oil,
twisting,orsignsofabnormalwear.
Note:Replacethebeltifitisexcessivelywornor
damaged;refertoInstallingtheBelt(page60).
3.Installtheright-sidepanel;refertoInstallingtheSide
Panels(page36).

1.Removetherightsidepanel;refertoRemovingthe
SidePanels(page35).
2.Placeastraightedgeoverthedrivebeltandacrossthe
pulleys(Figure83).

Note:Therangeofbeltdeectionbetweenthe
straightedgeandthebeltshouldbe7to9mm(0.28to

4.Ifthetensionofthebeltisaboveorbelowthespecied
range,adjustthedrivebelttension;refertoAdjusting
theTensionoftheBelt(page58).
