1. Press the [MODE] key as you switch on the printer.
Release the keys when SYSTEM Mode appears on the display.
2. Press the arrow under the cursor key to select the menu item
<1> DIAGNOSTIC.
Confirm by pressing the ENTER key.

Confirm by pressing the ENTER key.
PRINT TYPE will open
Menu.
Use the cursor keys to select the print type:
Print with colour ribbon (THERMAL TRANSFER)
Print with no colour ribbon (DIRECT THERMAL)
Show counter readings on the printer's display (DISPLAY).
