Setup Flow for Peer-to-Peer Printing
This equipment provides the Peer-to-Peer Utility that enables a peer-to-peer connection over the TCP/IP
network. The Peer-to-Peer Utility allows users to add a Peer-to-Peer TCP/IP port by searching the
equipment in the local area network. If an administrator does not allow printer sharing in a Microsoft
network, (that means that the SMB print service is disabled), he can permit users to connect to this
equipment using the Peer-to-Peer Utility.
Peer-to-Peer utility is only available for Windows 98 and Windows Me.
Set up the TCP/IP Assign the IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway address. Also, configure the
WINS settings if your Windows network is managed with the WINS server.
