Close the paper feed cover.
 Paper jam in the Paper Feed Pedestal (optional)

Close the paper feeder cover.
 Paper jam in the bypass tray

Remove the jammed paper.

Open the paper feeder cover of the Paper Feed
Pedestal.

Remove the jammed paper.

Move the paper holding lever toward the outside.
The paper can now be released.
