3.3 Setting with the Engineering Tool
This section explains how to register and set the PA912 module in the nv
controller. Make sure to use the correct nV-Tool of combination version. ( See
the combination versions described in "Chapter 1.1: Functions and
Characteristics of the PA912 Module".)
For the operation method of the engineering tool, refer to "Unified Controller
nv series/Integrated Controller V series nV-Tool (Basic) Instruction
Manual"(6F8C1290).
The following explains the outline of two methods which sets and registers
PA912. For registering and setting the PA912, explanations are given with
reference to a system in which the target system, stations and modules
(controllers) have been registered.
1) Configuration import method

1 Register the PA912 to the I/O node.
2 Import the configuration information of the slave devices.
4 Register the I/O variables to the slave devices.
5 Register the I/O variables of the PA912 RAS information.
3 Set the module parameters.
