5. Night operation (Reducing operating noise of outdoor units)
You can set operating times, such as at night, to prioritize quietness by suppressing the operating noise of the
outdoor units.
NOTE
An administrator password may be required.
NOTE
When connected to a model for which the “Night operation” feature is not available, the message “No function” is displayed.
(For models for which this feature is available, refer to the catalogs or manuals of outdoor units.)
If the same time is set for “Start time” and “End time”, then quiet operation is done for 24 hours.
While the outdoor unit is doing quiet operation, the operation gives priority to quietness, so cooling (warming) may be
insufficient.
Before doing “Night operation”, do “Clock”. (Page 46)
When 2 remote controllers are installed, settings cannot be done on the “Follower remote controller”.
If one or more units belonging to the same refrigerant system are set for “Night operation”, the feature can be enabled. If
more than one remote controllers are connected to one system of outdoor units, “Night operation” can be set with those
remote controllers. “Night operation” will start at the time set with each remote controller. For details of the operation, refer
to the Service Guide.
While the outdoor unit is doing quiet operation, “ ” is displayed in the detailed display.
