Strata CIX System /IPU Address Mode
1. From the IP Configurations screen, choose Network >
> IPU Mode.
2. Press the Manual or Broadcast soft key to change the set
value. The value set is underlined in the display.
3. Press the Set soft key to accept the change
...or press the Cancel soft key to cancel the change and go
to the Network Setting screen [2/3].
Strata CIX System/IPU Address Screen
There are two IPU’s that can be setup for an IP5000-series telephone P-IPU is the
Primary IPU (the first address, the phone will try to register to).
S-IPU is the Secondary IPU (the second address the phone will try to register to if the
primary IPU cannot be reached.
1. From the IP Configurations screen, choose Network >
> x-IPU. The Primary or Secondary IPU address
displays (shown right).
2. Follow the steps “To change settings on the screen” on
page 130.
