Notes:
• Bulbwells, drain, and vent connections must be accessible after insulating.
• All units with evaporator marine waterboxes: wrap waterbox shell insulation with strapping and secure strapping with
seal.
• Evaporators with ASME nameplates must have insulation cut out around the nameplate. Do NOT glue insulation to
the nameplate.
• Apply 2-in. (50.8-mm) wide black tape on overlap joints. Where possible, apply 3-in. (76.2-mm) wide strip of 0.38-in.
(9.652-mm) thick insulation over butt joint seams.
