  Make sure the transmitter belt contacts are making good contact with your skin and are moist. Ensure the transmitter belt is within 3 feet (1 meter) of the heart rate receiver on the console. If you are still experiencing issues, replace the transmitter belt, as the battery inside may be depleted. Also, environmental interference from high voltage power lines may cause this issue, try moving the unit to another position within the room or move the cause of the interference until heart rate reading are stable. If the probable source of interference is plugged into the same outlet move the suspect source to another outlet. Finally, another user wearing a compatible transmitter strap may be interfering, so move the units further apart.

  First, ensure the safety/e-stop key is fully engaged with the console. Check the power cord to make sure it is fully seated in the outlet and at the unit. If there is still a problem, verify the output voltage from the 20A outlet with a voltmeter to ensure sufficient power. User weight must be over 90lbs. Verify No User Present settings in console. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, replace the power cord.
