Oven Maintenance
The daily and deep cleaning procedures below will help maintain the High h Batch 2 oven. Be sure to use
only TurboChef Oven Cleaner; any other cleaner can damage and void the warranty on critical parts. To

(P/N: 103181), nylon scrub pad, cleaning towel, soft-bristle cleaning brush,

hillips screwdriver (only if required for top jetplate removal)
S
tep 1: Prepare the Oven.
o
E
nsur
e the oven is turned off – press the ON/OFF key.
o
DO NOT attempt to clean the oven until the display reads “Ready to Clean.
W
ARNING: Injury can occur if the oven is not allowed to cool properly
befor
e cleaning.
Step 2: Remove the Oven Rack.
o
Wash, rinse, sanitize, and dry the oven rack.

tep 3: Clean the Grease Filter.
o
G
rasp the filter latch and lift and pull out until the filter and bracket lie flat
(F
igure 3).
o
R
emove the filter from the bracket and gently rinse it.
CAUTION: DO NOT scrub the filter or use a water jet when cleaning.
o
I
f required, replace the filter (HHB-8287) if it has large holes or is becoming
detached from the frame.
Step 4: Clean the Oven Door and Cook Chamber.
o
U
sing a damp to
wel, remove food particles.
o
F
or stubborn stains, spray Oven Cleaner and allow it to penetrate for 5 minutes.
o
Scrub with a nylon scrub pad.
o
Wipe the oven door and cook chamber with a clean damp towel.
o
Using a clean dry towel, thoroughly dry the cook chamber.

tep 5: Reinstall the Grease Filter and Oven Rack.

ep 6: Apply Oven Guard
o
Follow instructions on bottle.
S
tep 7: Wipe the Oven Exterior with a Clean Damp Towel.
CAUTION: DO NOT spray chemicals into any openings, such as the
louv
ers on the side panels or the cooling fans on the back of the o
ven.
D
oing so can damage critical oven components, resulting in a non-
warranty service call.
