6.4. Filling the Mineral-Free Water Reservoir.
Caution!
Before filling the reservoir, verify that the autoclave is idle
and there is no pressure in the chamber.
1. Open the door (see 8.2, 8.3).
2. 2340EA-D, EKA-D, 2840EA-D, EKA-D:
Pour distilled water, gently, into the front funnel (3) until it reaches the
required level (2) on the level gauge. It is preferable to use a carafe.
Please note that the level gauge is divided into three sections. The
bottom blue section (2) shows that there is sufficient amount of water.
The upper red section (1) indicates that the water level in the reservoir
is too high.
Caution!
Under no circumstance should water be filled higher than
the blue area (See Figure below, 3) on the level gauge or the
safety valve holder.
3850EA-D, 3870EA-D: Fill the reservoir as in step 3 below.
3. If the reservoir is empty, it is recommended to add water directly into
the reservoir, as follows:
a. Remove the water reservoir cover (4).
b. Pour distilled water into the reservoir through the opening on top
of the autoclave until it reaches the base of the safety valve
