RESERVE PACKING INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION
AfterthereserveparachutehasbeenassembledasdescribedinSection2“ReserveAssemblyProcedures”,youmay
proceedwithpackingthereserve.ThissectionprovidesinstructionforpackingthereserveparachuteintotheVector3
harnessandcontainer.Makesuretoreadthroughthissectionentirelybeforeyoubeginpackingthe
reservecanopy.
Therearemanydifferentram‐airreservecanopiesonthemarkettoday;thismanualdoesnotcontainspecific
instructionsoncanopyinspection,orassembly.Forthesesteps,theriggermustfollowtheinstructionsprovidedbythe
canopymanufacturer.
Regardingreservecanopypacking,followtheregulationsandguidelinesset
forthbythesportparachutinggoverning
bodyofthecountryinwhichyouwillbeskydiving.Forexample,intheUnitedStates,aFederalAviation
Administration,orFAASeniororMasterriggercertificateisrequiredtopackanyreserveparachutethatwillbecarried
foruseintheUS.
