Remove the Comfort Inlay
at approximately 20 lbs
(9 kg) or when the child
begins growing on top of the
buckle making it dicult to buckle
the harness.
1 Loosen and unbuckle harness.
2 Place child in Child Restraint making sure their
body is making full contact with the seating surface.
3 Adjust Active Response Headrest by pushing down
and pulling up on handle so the harness slots are
at or one to two positions below the shoulders for
REAR-FACING OR at or one to two positions above
the shoulders for FORWARD-FACING.

4 Place harness over child and insert buckle tongues
into the buckle until a “click” is heard. Pull up on
the buckle tongues to make sure they are locked.
5 Pull up on the harness to remove excess slack around
the child’s legs. Pull harness adjuster strap to tighten.
6 Close the chest clip and position at armpit level.
7 Harness should be snug. Pinch harness webbing
at child’s shoulder. If you can pinch webbing, the
harness is too loose and should be tightened.
Note: Harness pads are optional and can be removed
to help get the chest clip to armpit level.
