1 Route the Multi-Directional Tether through the guide
located on the back of the seat as shown.
2 Route the webbing either through the vehicle headrest
posts or if an integrated headrest exists to the inboard
side of the headrest (for rear-facing) (2-5 illustrations on
next page)
3 Hook the Multi-Directional Tether to an approved
vehicle Tether (LATCH) location. Please refer to your
vehicle owner’s manual. (Illustration on next page)
4 Pull up on the strap as shown until the webbing is taut.

5 Excess webbing MUST be rolled around the fabric
sleeve and secured with closure provided. (Illustration
on next page)
ATTENTION: IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to utilize the Multi-Directional Tether for REAR-FACING installation
if vehicle is equipped with a Tether Anchor point and vehicle requirements are met. The tether will improve the stability
of your Child Restraint and reduce the risk of injury. See your vehicle owner’s manual for approved anchor locations.
