area is clear of fi reglass particles as these could
be ingested by small children. Vacuum area after
installation.

3. Mix the black and blue fi re glass together.
4. Fill a small container with approximately 3 cups
(750 ml) of mixed fi re glass.
5. Carefully spread the fi reglass on the surface of
burner patting it gently with your hand to form a
single layer to the approximate level of the top edge
of the fl ange around the burner. Do not pour too
much to avoid blocking the burner ports.
6. Some fi reglass may be added on the platform to
cover the edge of the burner and in the space in
front and behind the pilot shield.
NOTE: Ensure the area within the pilot shield is
clear of fi reglass.

Material required
• Black steel platform (supplied with appliance)
• Small container to distribute fi re glass (not supplied)
• Murano Glass Fire Kit, which contains:
◊ 1 bag of blue azura fi re glass
◊ 1 bag of black fi re glass
◊ 8 pieces glass panels
Installation
Carefully unpack the kit.
1. Install the steel platform around the burner as
indicated. The openings in the platform should
be underneath. Push the platform as far back as
possible to maximize the air gap behind the burner.
2. Install the glass plates on the platform, the textured
side underneath and the smooth side on top. Follow
the diagram below as the pieces are not all the
same size.

pered crushed fi reglass brands American Fireglass™
or fi regear. The use of any other fi reglass products
may void your fi replace warranty.
