Baery guidelines — electrical component
Your Electric can be equipped with dierent baery types (Depending on the manufacturer’s conguration)
It is possible for the baery to cause a re, explosion or hazard if the baery is connected to an incompatible system. Do not open,
disassemble or pierce the baery, as this can lead to short circuits, leaks, res or explosions. If the baery falls to the ground or
is exposed to a blow or similar event, do not continue to use the baery, take it to your retailer to examine. Use only the original
charger supplied with the baery, otherwise, it can lead to an explosion or permanent damage. Used baeries must be disposed
of at a suitable disposal point.
Baery label : The content on the label is important information about this product. Before use, read the information. Please do not
remove the information from the baery.
Please only use the original charger to charge the baery. The baery is not fully charged when it is delivered. Please charge the
baery completely before its rst use and before storage.
It is recommended to charge the baery aer use. Deep discharge is harmful to the baery. Never fully discharge the baery. If
the baery remains uncharged for an extended period, this will damage the capacity of the baery. For storage, the
recommended capacity of the baery should be between 60-80%.
The baery should always be kept out of reach of children. The use of the charger or the baery is not suitable for children
Do not touch a leaking baery. Leaking electrolytes can seep into the skin and cause discomfort. If baery acid encounters the
eyes, do not rub it! Immediately wash your eyes carefully with clean water and consult a doctor or a hospital.
A faulty baery can lead to overheating, smoking or burning.
When the baery gets hot, keep yourself and others a safe distance away from the baery. In case of damage or heat, you should
avoid touching the baery.
Do not disassemble the baery.
The baery contains protective components to avoid danger. Incorrect handling, such as improper disassembly, can destroy the
protective functions and lead to overheating, smoke and explosion.
Do not intentionally short-circuit the baery. Never allow the plus and minus connectors to come into contact with each other.
Do not allow the baery to come into contact with metal objects. It is dangerous if the baery is short-circuited. As it can lead to
overheating, smoke, explosion or burning.
Do not heat or burn the baery. An overheated or ignited baery can cause baery cells to explode.
Only perform operations described in this manual. Do not modify the electrical system/baery. No modules may be disassembled
or opened. Replace defective or worn-out baery components exclusively with the manufacturer’s original or approved spare
parts. Otherwise, any manufacturer guarantees and/or warranties will be voided. If non-original or incorrect spare parts are used,
the electric may not function correctly. Improper operation of the drive system and changes made to the motor may result in
injury or costly damage. In such cases, the manufacturer declines any liability for the damage caused. In addition, changes to the
baery or to the electrical system may result in criminal prosecution. For example, if the changes performed to cause the motor to
reach speeds above 25 km/h.
Modern Electric technology is high-tech. Working with it requires expert knowledge, experience, and specialized tools. Do not
perform any work on your Electric without approval from Velorei. Contact customer care. The electrical system includes the
following components: display, baery, drive unit, charger, sensors & controllers.
