Baery range
Do not use the baery near heat sources.
Do not use the baery near an open ame or at temperatures above 60 °C. High temperatures can cause the baery to burn or
explode.
Do not charge the baery near open re or in direct sunlight. This can cause errors or internal problems inside the baery, also
damaging the protective function. It can lead to abnormal chemical reactions or malfunctions that lead to overheating, smoke and
explosion.
Do not drop or damage the baery. This can lead to overheating, smoke and explosion. Never submerge the baery in water.
Do not charge the baery directly from the socket or a cigaree lighter in the car. High voltage and excessive current will damage
the baery and reduce its lifespan. It can lead to overheating, smoke and explosion.
Do not continue to use the baery if you notice that it gets hot during operation, charging or storage, develops a strong smell,
changes its appearance, or is otherwise unusual.
If you do not use your Electric for a long time, remove the baery, and charge about (60-80%) on. Store the baery separately in a
suitable dry place.
Remove the baery of your electric before transportation and transport it separately. When using a transport company to trans-
port your Electric, always discuss transport possibilities. Electric bikes and it’s baeries have specic transportation instructions
and specic insurances can be needed. Never send the baery yourself. Baeries are considered hazardous materials. In some
circumstances, it can overheat and catch re. Discuss possibilities with your transport company or Velorei customer care.
Natural wear and tear due to normal use and aging does not fall within the scope of our quality warranty. The baery capacity
decreases over time, thus reducing the range of the Electric. If baery’s capacity range is not enough, it may need to be replaced.
It is best to charge the baery at room temperatures and insert the baery just before the start of the journey. The discharge
cycle of the baery can be aected by: Used pedal power, Shiing seings, total weight (load and driver), tire air pressure, head-
wind, ambient temperature, road/underground condition, selected speed level, slope, Baery charge level, baery age, remaining
capacity of the baery.
• Avoid direct sunlight from the sun, as it may cause it to overhead, and cause internal problems in the baery. It can lead to
abnor- mal chemical reactions or malfunctions that lead to overheating, smoke and explosion.
• To prevent a deep discharge, the baery is put into sleep mode aer a certain time.
• Do not extend the baery to temperatures below the permissible storage temperature of -10 °C to 35 °C. Note that tempera-
tures of about 45 °C are common near heaters, in direct sunlight or in overheated vehicle interiors.
By car
By train
You can transport your electric by car as you would a normal bicycle. Before transporting your electric, remove the baery and
transport it separately. The weight of the electric will call for a heavier-duty rack. Always adjust your driving behaviour to the load
you are carrying on the rack.
