Terminal Screen Next Step
7. The cardholder will be required to enter their
Personal Identification Number (PIN).
8. Once the transaction has processed, the
terminal screen will display whether the
transaction has been approved or declined.
Important: If a chip card was inserted and is yet
to be removed, a prompt will appear to remove the
card. The terminal will beep as a reminder if the card
isn’t removed.
9. The terminal will print a merchant copy
of the receipt.
10. The terminal will prompt for a customer copy
of the receipt to be printed or emailed.
