6.2 Notifications on the receipt
CONNECTION ERROR = There is a problem in the connection. See section 6.3.
BATCH SENDING ERROR = There is a problem in the connection. See section 6.3.
”PYYTÄMÄÄNNE AINEISTOA EI OLE” = The bank does not have information on the pre-
vious batch sending process ready.
“TAPAHTUMATIEDOSTO PUUTTUU” = The bank does not have information on the pre-
vious batch sending process ready.
ERROR FILE NOT EXISTENT =The bank does not have information on the previous
batch sending process ready.
OTA YHTEYS NEUVONTAAN =Contact the bank.
6.3 Other exceptions
CONNECTION PROBLEM = Switch the terminal off and on and try to connect again.
Check that the SIM card is properly placed in its slot.
TERMINAL DOES NOT READ CARDS = Switch the terminal off and on and try again.
The chip card reader might also be unclean. Clean the reader with a cleansing card
and try again.
POWER IS OFF = Switch on the terminal by pressing the Enter button for a while or by
connecting the power cord. The battery might also be empty and require charging.
6.4 Service
PLEASE NOTE: Never try to repair the terminal by yourself –
always send it to a repair shop. If you suspect or know that the
terminal is broken or damaged, contact Sonera’s technical
corporate customer service.
If Sonera’s technical corporate customer service asks you to send the device to a
repair shop, do as follows:
1. Pack the terminal so that it is well protected during the transport.
2. Enclose a note explaining what the suspected fault is and whether there are any
payment transactions in the terminal’s memory, and also give your contact details.
3. You need not send any cables with the terminal unless you want them to be
checked as well.
4. Send the terminal to the repair shop by mail. The postage is paid by the sender
