CONNECTIONS
• MTU - specifies the largest packet size permitted for
Internet transmissions:
– Automatic - set the MTU (Maximum Transmission
Unit) at 1500
– Automatic by DHCP - sets the MTU according to
the DHCP connection
– Manual - allows you to manually set the MTU
3. Click Apply to save changes.
6.4/ BROADBAND ETHERNET/FIBER CONNECTION
A Broadband Ethernet connection connects computers to your Fios
Router using Ethernet cables. The connections are either direct or
use network hubs and switches.
Note: If disabling the connection, you must reboot your Fios Router for the
change to take eect.
To view the connection:
1. In the Network Connections page, click the Broadband
Connection (Ethernet/Fiber) link.
