7.2.2 Upflow Unit Plenums with EC Fans
EC fans on upflow units are mounted external to the unit in a factory-provided plenum. The plenum
distributes air to the conditioned space through adjustable, double-deflection grilles, or connects with
field-supplied ductwork. Read all instructions before installing plenums and EC fans.
