Refitting
- To fit, follow the removal steps but in reverse order; be careful to tighten to the prescribed torques.
Locking torques (N*m)
Shock absorber/engine pin torque 33 to 41 N·m Shock absorber/chassis nut torque 20 to 25 Nm
Centre-stand
REMOVAL
- Use a jack to support the vehicle properly.
- Remove the two return springs from the centre
stand.
- Undo the nut shown in the figure.
- Remove the pin from the right side.
- Remove the centre stand.
FITTING
- On refitting tighten the nut to the specified torque.
Locking torques (N*m)
Centre stand screw 32 to 40
