4000 Series GSM Audio Intercom with Proximity
Reset Procedure
RESETTING THE GSM MODULE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS
There are two ‘hard-wired’ reset options available. The rst will reset the master code only and the second will reset everything and
clear all the stored telephone numbers, proximity cards, access codes, timebands and all settings.
RESETTING THE MASTER CODE TO 1111 4x1
1. Power down the 4G GSM intercom module.
2. Put a short across terminals g & 7 on the back of the GSM
module, as shown in Fig.56.
3. Power up the GSM module, 2 beeps will be heard followed
by a brief delay and then a 3rd beep, as shown in Fig.57.
4. After the 3rd beep remove the short, as shown in Fig.58.
5. The master code is now reset back to 1111 (4x1).

FULL SYSTEM RESET
1. Power down the 4G GSM intercom module.
2. Put a short across terminals g & 8 on the back of the GSM
module, as shown in Fig.59.
3. Power up the GSM module, 2 short beeps will be heard
followed by a brief delay, then a single beep (3rd beep),
followed by another brief delay and then nally another
single beep (4th beep), as shown in Fig.60.
4. After the 4th beep remove the short, as shown in Fig.61.
5. All settings on the 4G GSM module will be returned back
to factory defaults as well as clearing all stored telephone
numbers, proximity fobs, access codes etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE: SINCE A FULL SYSTEM RESET WILL CLEAR THE 4G GSM MODULE OF ALL THE STORED INFORMATION
I.E. GSM SETTINGS, TELEPHONE NUMBERS, PROXIMITY FOBS ETC. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A RECORD OF THE
STORED INFORMATION IS EITHER NOTED MANUALLY ON A “RECORD SHEET” OR DOWNLOADED AND SAVED FROM
THE 4G GSM MODULE USING THE GSMSK PC SOFTWARE.
