4000 Series GSM Audio Intercom with Proximity
DESCRIPTION
A system comprises of an intercom panel, power supply, SIM card (SIM card not provided by Videx) and antenna. The intercom panel
is part of the Videx 4000 series modular design allowing it to be customised to the installation requirements for example including
coded access, proximity access or including the correct number of call buttons (up to 50 call buttons).
The 4000 series GSM intercom module is fully compatible with the 4000 series range of ush (Art.4851, Art.4852 and Art.4853)
and surface (Art.4881, Art.4882, Art.4883, Art.4884, Art.4886 and Art.4889) back boxes and also the 4000 series ush rainshields
(Art.4871, Art.4872, Art.4873, Art.4874, Art.4876 and Art.4879) and surface rainshields (Art.4891, Art.4892, Art.4893, Art.4894,
Art.4896 and Art.4899).
ART. 4810/4G GSM PRO INTERCOM AVAILABLE VERSIONS
The intercom panel can include any of the modules from the 4000 series range and uses the standard 4000 series surface and ush
mounting frames. The GSM module is however essential and includes all the GSM communication electronics, SIM card (supplied
separately) and connections. The 4G GSM intercom module is available in a 0 button, 1 button and 2 button conguration with the
onboard buttons internally wired, as shown in Fig.1 along with their part numbers.

EXTENSION BUTTON MODULES
The 4G GSM intercom will allow up to 50 call buttons. Any of the standard 4000 series button modules (Art.4842 .. 4845) or the 4000
series IDC button modules (Art.4042 .. 4045) can be used, see Fig.2. Please note that button 1 is in the bottom right corner of the
module counting up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When extension button modules are being used on systems where proximity access is required and a 0
button Art.4810-0/4G GSM module is being used, the location of the onboard proximity reader is on the front of the module
below the speaker. In the case of the 1 and 2 button versions the onboard proximity reader is located behind the nameplate
for button 1, refer to Fig.1.
