4000 Series GSM Audio Intercom with Proximity
CONNECTING ART. 4042 .. 4045 IDC BUTTON MODULES
The 4G GSM module also includes an IDC connection that can
be used to link the GSM module with the IDC button modules
(Art.4042 .. 4045) using the IDC at ribbon cable connectors Art.
CFL17 (17cm length) and/or Art.CFL45 (45 cm length), Fig.3.
Both surface and ush 4G GSM series 3 to 12 button audiokits are
supplied with the relevant Art.4042 .. 4045 IDC button modules
and will also include the relevant Art.CFL17 IDC ribbon cable
connector(s).
When using the IDC at ribbon cables the following call button
conguration table can be used to setup the call button jumper
on the back of the Art.4042 .. 4045 IDC button modules when
they are connected to the 4G GSM module.

The Art.4810-n/4G GSM module has
a button oset programming feature
(see programming notes on pages 64
- 65) that when switched ON (enabled)
allows the onboard buttons on the
GSM module and the accompanying
Art.4045 IDC button module(s) to be
congured as shown in the examples
for 6, 7, 11 and 12 button GSM
audiokits.
By default this feature is switched OFF
(i.e. button oset = 00).
The button oset feature can also
be applied to GSM systems with 16,
17, 21, 22, 26, 27, 31, 32, 36 and 27
buttons.
For GSM systems with 40 - 50 buttons
the standard button modules Art.4842
.. 4845 should be used and wired in
manually to the GSM module.
