Your device is preset at the factory
Your Vitocom 100 is preset at the fac-
tory.
Your heating contractor has input further
settings for you during commissioning.
Standby
Provided the following requirements
have been met, the Vitocom 100 is ready
for operation. You can use the
Vitocom 100 if (see page 19):
■ Your heating contractor has installed
the equipment.
■ Your heating contractor has connec-
ted the KM BUS cable of the
Vitocom 100 to the control unit.
■ The SIM card has been inserted and
the PIN code has been entered.
■ The power supply has been connec-
ted.
■ The field strength indicator "2" illumi-
nates or flashes according to the field
strength (see page 14).
■ The following LED indicators illumi-
nate green: mobile network connec-
tion status "3" and operating status
indicator "4".
Power failure
All settings are saved if there is a power
failure.
Only for prepaid SIM cards:
If an end date for the SIM card validity
("enddat", see page 33) has been
entered, an SMS alert is sent to the 1st
and 2nd mobile phone number after a
power failure. The SMS alert requests
the current date to be re-entered
("akdat", see page 31).
