Important note
In your mobile phone, create at least one
SMS template that also includes the cur-
rent access code. This allows you to get
hold of the access code at any time,
should you forget it.
When changing the access code (see
page 22), always update the SMS tem-
plates with the new access code.
Example:
Switching off the central heating and
DHW (with frost protection):
Selecting operating mode 5 for
heating circuit 1
SMS template text from user
1111þbahk1þ5
Changing the access code
The access code prevents misuse and is
specific to the Vitocom 100, regardless
of the SIM card used.
The 4-digit access code is preset to 1111
in the delivered condition.
The access code must be specified at
the beginning of every SMS to the
Vitocom 100.
The Vitocom 100 accepts only codes
comprising 4 digits. Longer entries will
automatically be shortened.
Only numbers 0 to 9 can be used for
each digit.
Note
Always ensure that the SMS templates
in your mobile phone are also altered to
include the new access code.
If you change the access code, the
Vitocom 100 sends an SMS with the new
code to the mobile phone numbers
"mobnr1" and "mobnr2" (if program-
med).
Example:
Changing the access code from "1111"
to "1234", for example.
SMS from the user
1111þcodeþ1234
Reply SMS from the Vitocom 100
1234 CODE 1234 OK
Note
If you have forgotten your access code,
you can check it with the SMS command
"password" (page 36).
