Type of fault and measures
Field strength indicator "2"
Flashes or illuminates
red
Field strength is insufficient (see page 15)
Use a mobile phone to check the field strength of the
mobile network at the aerial.
Adjust the aerial.
Select a different site for the Vitocom 100 and the aerial;
inform your heating contractor if necessary.
Mobile network connection status "3"
Flashes yellow slowly Connection to the mobile network cannot be established.
Use a mobile phone to check the field strength of the
mobile network at the aerial.
Adjust the aerial.
Select a different site for the Vitocom 100.
Replace the SIM card if necessary (see page 24).
Illuminates yellow Wireless connection not available.
Disconnect plug-in power supply unit and reconnect
again after approx. 15 s. Connection attempt will then be
repeated.
To reinstate the delivered condition of the Vitocom 100;
see page 23.
Operating status indicator "4"
Flashes green for longer
than 5 min after being
switched on
Fault when initialising the Vitocom 100
Disconnect plug-in power supply unit and reconnect
again after approx. 15 s.
If necessary, replace the Vitocom 100.
Flashes red quickly Internal Vitocom 100 fault
Disconnect plug-in power supply unit and reconnect
again after approx. 15 s.
If necessary, replace the Vitocom 100.
Flashes red slowly Digital input DI1 fault
The fault is sent to the stored message destinations.
Illuminates green During PIN entry
Terminate PIN entry.
