pendix.
If the PIN code has been incorrectly
entered several times, the PUK of the
SIM card must be entered.
The PUK must be entered when the fol-
lowing is indicated:
The field strength indicator "2" illumi-
nates red and the operating status indi-
cator "4" flashes red.
1. Switch OFF the power supply.
2. Open the casing cover.
3. Remove the SIM card from the
Vitocom 100; see page 24.
4. Insert the SIM card into a mobile
phone and unblock it with the PUK.

5. Insert the SIM card in the
Vitocom 100; see page 24.
6. Switch ON the power supply.
7. Enter the PIN; see page 27.
Sending a commissioning SMS
1. Entering the access code
The access code protects the
Vitocom 100 against misuse.
In the delivered condition, the access
code has been set to 1111.
Note
Following the commissioning of the
Vitocom 100 we recommend chang-
ing the access code (see page 22).
2. Entering the language
Select the language code for the
required language from the table on
page 30.
Enter a space
þ
between the access
code and the language code.
Send the following text to the
Vitocom 100 phone number:
Commissioning SMS in English (en)
1111þde
The Vitocom 100 automatically recogni-
ses and saves the mobile phone number
of the sender.
