Safety
Three codes prevent unauthorised
access to your heating system via the
Vitocom 100:
PIN
Further information can be found
in chapter "Terminology" in the Ap-
pendix.
■ The PIN is specific to the inserted SIM
card and is stored in the Vitocom 100.
■ The PIN is a 4 digit number that cannot
be modified by an SMS.
■ Once a PIN has been entered it
remains permanently in force, even
after a power failure.
PUK
Further information can be found
in chapter "Terminology" in the Ap-
pendix.
If the PIN code has been incorrectly
entered several times, the PUK of the
SIM card must be entered (see
page 28).
Access code
■ The access code is a feature of the
Vitocom 100, independent of the SIM
card used.
■ The 4-digit access code is preset to
1111 in the delivered condition.
■ You can modify it by SMS with the
"code" command (see page 22).
Immediately after entering them, the
Vitocom 100 will automatically send
new access codes by SMS to both
stored mobile phone numbers.
■ The access code must be entered at
the start of each SMS to the
Vitocom 100 (not for the "pass-
word"command).
