Volvo Penta IPS - After Engine Shutdown Tasks

Auxiliary stop
If
the
engine cannot be stopped in a normal procedure,
it is possible to stop the engine via auxiliary stop
mounted on the side of the engine.
After Engine Shutdown
•
Check the engine and engine bay for leakages.
•
Close the fuel taps.
•
Close the sea cock.
•
Take an hour meter reading and carry out preven-
tive maintenance according to the maintenance
schedule.
•
Turn off the main switches before any long stop-
page.
