Telephone operation
Edit a directory entry
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory or
Alphabetical search on page 20).
When the desired entry appears, press
MENU/SELECT.
The screen shows EDIT NUMBER and the desired
entry’s number.
4. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.
Press REMOVE to backspace and erase a digit.
Press and hold REMOVE to erase the entire entry.
Press
CID/VOL
-
to move the cursor to the left or /VOL
+
to the right.
Press and hold
REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a P appears).
Press MENU/SELECT to move to the name. The screen shows EDIT NAME.
Press
MENU/SELECT again.
Use the dialing keys (see page 20) to edit the name.
Press REMOVE to backspace and erase a character.
Press and hold REMOVE to erase the entire entry.
Press
CID/VOL

to move the cursor to the left or
/VOL
+
to the right.

Press OFF/
CLEAR to return to idle mode.
Delete a directory entry
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review
the directory or Alphabetical search on page 20).
When the desired entry appears, press REMOVE. The
screen shows Delete contact? and the number.
Press
MENU/SELECTVQEQPſTO6JGUETGGPUJQYU
Deleting ... and Contact deleted. You will hear a

Press OFF/
CLEAR to return to idle mode.
