4.3 Adding the WMS
WebControl to the
WMS network
Before you can map the structure of your existing WMS network on the
WebControl, you need to add the WMS WebControl to your existing WMS
network.
The WMS WebControl is recognised by the WMS network as a new control
panel. For this reason, you require the operating and installation instructions
for your control panels to add it to the existing WMS network.
Example To add the WMS WebControl with the large WMS hand-held transmitter (in-
structions
art. no.: 890374, Chapter "Commissioning functions, learning in, scanning
table) to the WMS network, perform the initial steps as described in the hand-
held transmitter instructions.
The hand-held transmitter scans for receivers.
If they are found (in this case, the WMS WebControl), the display in the upper
LED row flashes red (new receiver).
If multiple receivers are indicated by the LEDs, verify that it is the right receiv-
er, i.e. the WMS WebControl, press the Info button
on the WMS Hand-held
transmitter.
The WMS WebControl flashes in response, i.e. the WMS transmitter LED
flashes red.
Now press the stop button on the WMS Hand-held transmitter to store.
The WMS WebControl is now integrated in the WMS network.
