Shutoff valve assembly
Fluid handling unit connection
To connect the sparge tubing to the fluid handling unit:
1. Attach the shutoff valve to a helium tank regulator or regulated house
supply.
You might need fitting adapters at the regulator, depending on the type
of source fittings.
2. Regulate the helium supply source to between 50 and 90 psi (3.5 and 6.3
atm).
3. Connect the supply line from the helium source to the sparge fitting on
the fluid handling unit rear panel with the shutoff valve and tubing you
assembled.
