1. Close the source isolation valve (see Closing the source isolation valve (Page 80)).
2. Grasp the cone gas nozzle handle, and use it to rotate the sampling cone assembly 90
degrees, moving the handle from the vertical position to the horizontal position.

3. Slide the sampling cone assembly out of the ion block assembly.
