Problem Solution
Pay TV channels do not work. Pay TV channels do not work if the smart
card and STB are not paired.
To make the pairing, inform your operator
with your STB’s CHIP-ID and the number of
your smartcard. You can nd the CHIP-ID
from CONAX an System information menu.
The smartcard must be inserted within
3 days after the STB has been added to
the operators customer database. The
STB must be turned on until channels that
require pairing begin to work (usually for
20-60 minutes).
Recording does not work. Plug in a USB device and format it to
enable recording.
Note that after formatting you cannot use
the USB device in your computer any more.
