Document Feeder
Telephone Line (WorkCentre M20i only)
z You should use
the telephone line
cord which is
supplied with your
machine. If you
are replacing it
with another
vendor’s, it
should be AWG
#26 or larger tele-
communication
line cord.

¾ Connect the Document Feeder
cord to the port shown and fasten
the side screws.

¾ Connect the supplied telephone
line to the LINE jack and the other
end to the wall jack.
If you want to use your machine
for receiving both faxes and voice
calls, you will need to connect a
telephone and/or answering
machine.
¾ If required, plug the cord of your
extension phone into the EXT
jack.
