User Roles & Security
ForeSite SS was designed with role-based security in order to meet
the unique security needs of your organizaon. Role-based security
allows administrators to create users with specic permissions to
both allow and restrict access to dierent funconality within the
soware.
There are two user roles in ForeSite SS; Standard User and
Administrator. As new users are created in the soware, they
are given a unique username, a password and a user role which
denes their accessibility within the soware. As such, all ForeSite
SS users, regardless of their role, must provide a username
and password in order to access the system. New users can
only be created by the Administrator user role. This, and other
administrave features, are discussed in more detail below.

The following Sengs can be accessed by an Administrator only.
Open Sengs from the main dropdown menu icon on the
upper right-hand corner of any screen.
User Management
To Create New Users
1. Select to launch the user creaon screen
→ For increased security, new users should change their password
upon rst logging into ForeSite SS.

1. Select the user to open the user prole
2. Select the eld you wish to edit
