REMOVE
WARNING
Put blocks under each fork. Position blocks on both
sides of the drive wheel. The blocks must prevent
the lift truck from falling and causing personal in-
jury or damage.
WARNING
Be careful when removing or installing snap rings.
The snap rings can come loose during removal or
installation with enough force to cause a personal
injury. Always use the correct snap ring pliers, and
wear eye and face protection during removal and
installation.
1. Raise the motorized lift truck forks/platform to one
half its maximum height.
2. Place blocks under the forks. Block the drive wheel.
See the section Periodic Maintenance 8000 YRM
1009, How to Put a Lift Truck on Blocks.
3. Remove the drive unit compartment cover.
4. Separate the frames. Refer to the section Frame
100 YRM 1015.
5. Manually collapse the piston into the cylinder while
depressing the lower switch.
6. Relieve pressure from the hydraulic cylinder. See
Figure 5.
