d. On the model with the trim switch, wind
the trim switch wire two turns counter-
clockwise around the boss at the lower end
of the control lever. Make sure the white-
taped portion of the wire is positioned at
the lower end of the control lever.

e. Pass the trim switch wire through the holes
in the mounting plate and base, and bring
them to the back of the mounting plate.
f. Bring the white-taped portion of the trim
switch wire to the hole in the neutral lock
holder, and insert the neutral lock holder
into the base.
g. Install the cover on the base.
NOTE: Align the adjusting screw holes in the
cover and the base, and install the cover.

h. Install the control lever on the remote con-
trol box.
NOTE: When installing the control lever, wind
the trim switch wire two turns counterclockwise,
as shown below. Make sure the wire is not twist-
ed and the white-taped portion is positioned at the
hole.
If the wire is twisted or wound incorrectly, it may
break. Coil the wire so that windings do not cross
each other.
