STEERING ATTACHMENT KITS
The steering attachment kit connects the engine
with the steering cable. The steering cable is con-
nected to the steering wheel, which enables the
operator to guide the boat from the helm.
There is a Yamaha Steering Attachment Kit made
for every outboard (from the 9.9hp model and up).
The kit consists of a steering link rod, nuts, bolts,
and washers to attach the steering hook to the
steering cable.

NOTE:Some steering system components (such
as wheels and steering cables), are not offered by
Yamaha Parts and Accessories. However, Yamaha
outboard motors are made to industry specifica-
tions to facilitate completing your steering system
with readily available aftermarket product.
