VOLTMETER - (6Y5-83503-00-00)
The voltmeter provides information about the
charging condition of the battery.
NOTE: The voltmeter can be used with any
engine converted to full remote operation.
NOTES ABOUT VOLTAGE READINGS:
Models smaller than 75hp have no voltage regu-
lator. Extended operation or operating with a bad
battery can produce voltage readings higher than
16 volts.
The voltage regulator on 75hp~225(L)hp is set
for fast battery charging with repeated engine
starting. Extended continuous engine opera-
tion may show voltage readings around 16
volts. This is not a problem with properly
maintained marine batteries.
