5. Install the collar on the shift handle pin and
clip the circlip. Connect the shift cable joint
to the “R” mark side of the shift lever, and
lock it with the lock plate.
6. Connect the throttle cable joint to the “R”
mark on the throttle lever, and lock it with the
lock plate.
7. Install the stop switch in the motor pan.
8. Reconnect the white and black leads (see
“Removal,” step 4). Reinstall the CDI cover.
