Outboard Rigging Guide - 2001
In case the buzzers sounds and the engine
speed cannot be increased;
1. Return the remote control lever to the neu-
tral position and retry the shifting. If the
outboard shifts, the cruising can be contin-
ued.
2. In case it will not shift yet, use emergency
lever and emergency manual shift lever to
shift the outboard, run to the nearest port
immediately and consult your YAMAHA
dealer.
