This manual has been provided for the use of authorized YAMAHA Retailers and their service personnel.

It has been assumed that basic service procedures inherent to the industry, and more specifically YAMAHA Products, are already

  If the Auto Tuning function does not work on your Yamaha Receiver, the AM loop antenna may be connected improperly. Make sure the AM loop antenna is connected properly. Also, the radio station you selected may be far away from your area or radio wave reception is weak in your area. Try Manual Tuning to increase the signal quality.

  If the Auto Tuning function does not work on your Yamaha Receiver, the radio station you selected may be far away from your area or radio wave reception is weak in your area. Try Manual Tuning to increase the signal quality or use a multi- channel outdoor antenna.

  If, even with an outdoor antenna, radio wave reception is weak (audio is distorted) on your Yamaha Receiver, multipath reflection or other radio interferences may occur. Change the antenna’s height, direction, or placement.

  If the preset station settings have been cleared on your Yamaha Receiver, the power to the DVD receiver may be lost more than a week. Make sure the power cable is plugged into outlet firmly, then preset the stations again.

  If the TV (monitor) does not show the picture properly with your Yamaha Receiver, the picture settings may be improper. Adjust the picture settings with the OSD menu. Also, the Progressive Scan mode may be used with a TV that does not support it. Turn off the Progressive Scan mode.
