II: Equipment group II (Equipment for use in places other than mines).
1: Category 1 (Highest category equipment allowed to be installed in Zone
0).
G: Gas ignition protection.
EEx: Apparatus being applied by one of the types of protection specified by
EN standards.
Ia: Intrinsically safe apparatus with a level of protection “ia”.
IIC: Group IIC (The apparatus of IIC can be used in air-gas mixture of hydro-
gen or acetylene).
T4: Temperature class T4 (Surfaces of the apparatus of T4 do not exceed
135? at the maximum ambient temperature of 60°C).
